About the event
The 559 Night Market was born out of inconvenience. With High Speed Rail construction limiting access to Fresno's Chinatown, the owner of Central Fish, Morgan Doizaki, wanted to create an event to bring more people to the area. It's an often-forgotten part of Fresno, but it has historic significance, great food and looks to play a significant part in Fresno's future. We built the 559 Night Market in the mold of successful Asian-themed night markets in other cities. We focus on great food, culture, community, fandoms, dancing, live entertainment. It's a family-friendly event that draws thousands of people to Chinatown while also highlighting the nearby businesses.
